Horray! Christian Urban fantasy that doesn't suck! At long last, someone decided to break through the shackles of predictably lame content and make something that's better! While it's still bad because of the genre, it's a vast improvement on books like Left Behind. So why hasn't this MUCH BETTER book gotten the accolades it rightly deserves? The well is too poisoned because of Left Behind? People turned off by the genre? Perhaps the skin color of the main character? At any rate, this is one of the rare books in the genre that I can tolerate reading.
I am not sure if he has a direct sequel, but he does have a book related to the angel group that the main character's friend is a member of. I am not sure if he'll make a sequel, but if enough viewers tell me to cover/rag on it, I'll buy it. But for the most part, I'm done with Christian fantasy for the foreseeable future. At least it's not this book's fault.
One more episode to #100! I'm excited! Are you? Probably not, but you will be when I show you what I chose.
