Sick days

There were so many things going on in my area that I missed out on.

Fireworks festival was rained out.

I was too sick to get to Chicken & Beer festival.

I was OK on Sunday, but it was rained out.

So, this is my luck, my misfortune. My summer vacation is wrapping up and my last weekend was coughed down the drain.

But on the bright side, I am now 48% finished with the writing phase of Super Prepared! This will be my main project for the rest of the month. My deadline will be late October at the latest, with publishing in November at the latest. Exciting times!

Diary of a pirate boss on Wattpad is finished now. Swing by there and take a look! You probably won't regret it.

In a flurry of writing activity, I was able to finish writing Diary of a Pirate Boss, and The Wind and The Rain. Both projects were on their last chapters, so I took advantage of a day off and my previous planning to finish them up.

Those chapters will post as scheduled on my usual timeline. I like to edit things before posting. QC, of course.

This means more time to write Super-Prepared and a few other short stories. But it's been a somewhat productive July. Not as much as should have been, but I'm making progress and things are getting done.

I am pleased with the number of downloads I got on the Smashwords book promotion this month. I might run another promotion again for the newer book. But we'll see.

I'm going to join Talk About it Tuesdays, a Youtube program from the Black Science Fiction Society. My reviews will be partnered with a video and graphics. I like the sound of that!
