Behind schedule

I've fallen a bit behind in most of my writing due to various things going on, mostly computer related. But I do have some updates.

1) My review show is starting this Tuesday on the Black Science Fiction Society Youtube page! I'll be posting links to the show once the first episode goes up. I'm trying to not be hyper critical like Ed Lover, but his show is/was so funny! With September here, I have to start reading material again. I'll be reviewing Keloid Episode One and Two this week. You can watch it with me on Youtube.

2) I've been thinking about writing an editorial about Charlottesville in VA and the North Korea crisis. I'll probably post it here before shipping it to newspapers. I try to not talk politics on my writing page, but you the reader might find it interesting.

3) I've got a good start on getting my NaNoWriMo project ready for November, so this week I'll do more setup and then leave it alone until November.

As always, loyal readers and listeners, feel free to tell me what I'm doing right or wrong. I don't mind the advice.

Fall plans

I've got quite a few projects on my mind, but I'm mainly focused on the big book for the rest of summer.

I'm making pretty good catch up time with Super Prepared. At my current pace of 2 to 3 pages a day, I'll be done writing by September. Editing will be a different story. I'll need to hire out.

What's on my platter for Wattpad? Two stories are bouncing around my head.

1) I call this one Fresh Bite, and it covers the days of three people living in a supernatural world. A human doctor who treats vampires and werewolves because they keep getting sick biting humans. A vampire hunter kicked off the team because of budget cuts and fewer vampires misbehaving (Probably due to above). A part-elf part-werewolf with a human mother who works as a lawyer and is a friend to both. Constantly hassling them is a CIA intel officer who wants the 411 on the paranormal community, as well as bounties. If it sounds like the Canadian TV show Lost Girl, then it shouldn't. I won't have as many obnoxious bar scenes as the show did.

I can start this one after I finish SuperPrepared as a fun time sink.

2)  I've had a big Wattpad project on my mind for awhile, but it will likely be a winter project as I have NaNoWriMo to contend with. I've had a good NaNoWriMo idea bouncing in my head for the past year. Though originally I was going to write that one after SuperWar, it's short enough that I can get it done in a month. I will have to plan it out appropriately. It'll be another videogame fanfic like my Rimworld stories, though I intend to go for a more beloved product this time. Hope I don't get a cease-and-desist order.
