One of my favorite series released a sequel last year and I finally got around to reviewing it. One of the reasons why I like the series so much is because the friendship between the characters is so strong. That bond helped them through the crisis in the last novel.
In this novel, their bond is critical to surviving the many resulting crises their actions have started on both sides of the galaxy. I'm not fond of the ending but I think it sets up the true test of their bond in the next book.
The cover should remind you of Stargate. That is no accident. I don't want to give away much of the story from there, but there's a good reason why it looks that way.
In the meantime, I wrote the last review before the big show. Now I can get on with the big project for the late August interview! I'll need the extra prep time; it's a 3 book space opera called The Darkside Trilogy.
