I had a lot of time to read while on vacation and I managed to find time to read this interesting novel. But I might not have chosen the best environment to read it. Perhaps this is a lesson- never read M rated comics on an airplane. Yes, technically you're in international waters and there's no law against it. But if it's too kinky/weird, the stewards won't give you anymore peanuts.
After I dubbed this recording, I went on the writer's website and found issue number 2. I've added it to the queue to see if the story improves and expands like I think it will. I think it might be for free as well. It downloaded as a PDF so unless it's a sample, I think it might be for free. I know #1 is on sale on Amazon, since I got it there.
After I emailed this recording, the US signed into law the SOFTRA bill, which has made many retailers hesitant about hosting erotic works for fear of being blamed for sex trafficking. You can say it has a chilling effect, though I find it to be overblown to some extent. Yeah sure, Craigslist and Backpage had actual human sex trafficking going on. But I doubt edgy comics can be used as a medium for trafficking. Maybe they could be? Not sure how this would work without leaving contact info in the comic somehow.
Speaking of the list, as of this writing, I'm going to be finished with dubbing all of May and 3/4s of June. I've found enough products to review for the rest of the year. I want to get a massive buffer going so I can devote time to a few other projects and get myself covered for the vacations- though I find airplane flights to be a good time for reading.
This doesn't mean I won't take on new products to review: I can either slot them into next year, shift another project around to another week, or 'hot-slot' the review into another review. Hey, I can do Thursdays as well! I might have to- I've already run out of Tuesdays!
Current read: Rift: DeadMan Chronicles Book 2. Book 1 was my first show!
